changing the default home page layout

JEM supports three different types of home page layouts
  1. Content - This type of home page mimics a blog style page, where your blog entries are shown in chronological order.
  2. Home Page - This can be customized via the Content > Manage Content > Homepage entry with your own HTML and graphics, giving you quite a lot of flexibility in editing the home page.
  3. Store - This home page style shows your featured products, similar to any shopping cart.
To change the default home page layout, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Design > Site Layout
  2. On the Layout Options tab, scroll to the default home page dropdown and select your home page type.
  3. Save it.
