JEM allows you to setup auto shipping of products ordered by a customer.  What this means is that when the customer purchases products from your store, you can give them the option of automatically having that same order shipped to them on a recurring basis.  For example:

 

1. Customer orders 4 boxes of chocolate.
2. On checkout, the customer is given an option to select 'auto ship this order' before payment.
3. After the order is made,  JEM will automatically generate the invoice during each recurring interval (monthly for example), and send that invoice to the user.
   
4. You can now auto ship those products to them when the invoice is generated.

To setup auto ship, please follow these steps:

1. Click on Products > Manage Products.
2. Create a membership product to use for the recurring interval for auto shipment.
   
3. Enter any amount you want as this will not be used.
   
4. Make sure that this product has a status of 'inactive'
5. Take note of the product ID.
6. Click on settings > global configuration > store > shipping settings > enable auto shipment of products
7. enter the membership product ID there.
8. Save your settings.
9. Go to Products > Manage Products
10. Go through each product and set the 'disable autoship' option in the Options tab in each product's details page.
