Using vendor zip codes for shipping calculation

If you are using dropshipping, you may want to use the vendor's zip code to calculate the shipping amount instead of your zip code.  This way, a more accurate shipping amount will be calculated by JEM, especially if you use USPS or UPS shipping methods, as they rely on the product weight and zip code to calculate shipping.

To enable this option, follow these steps:
  1. Click on Settings > Global Configuration > Store > Shipping Settings
  2. Enable the use vendor zip code for shipping calculation option



  3. Save the settings.
*You also need to make sure that your vendors all have their zip codes added in Products > Manage Vendors so that shipping will be calculated correctly.
