JEM allows you to automatically generate coupons for affiliates when they signup.

These coupons can be used by your affiliates to promote your products to their friends and colleagues, while giving them a discount to your store.  By doing this, your new customer can save a few dollars shopping at your store, while your affiliate can also generate a commission directly from it.

To setup autogenerate affiliate coupons, follow these steps:

1. Click on Settings > Global Configuration > Marketing > Marketing Tools
2. Scroll down to the the option for Auto Generate Affiliate Coupons.  Set this to Enable
3. Edit the values for the following fields with your own:
   • Auto Generated Coupon Amount - the amount you want to give out for the coupon.  For example: .10 for 10%
   • Auto Generated Coupon Type - select either percent or flat amount
   • Limit Affiliate Coupon Use - the amount of times the coupon can be used at your store.
4. Once you have finished editing your settings, save it.  Everytime a user signs up for your store from now, either through registration or via purchase, they will automatically be given a coupon that will be shown in their members area.
