JEM allows you to set a lifetime sponsor for customers.  What this means is that affiliates who refer a customer once, will be able to generate repeat commissions from that customer every time they shop at your store.  The customer will have the affiliate as a life long sponsor, thus generating commissions for him every time he buys something from you.  There is no need to keep tracking cookies or anything like that as JEM keeps track of that internally.

To enable lifetime commissions, follow these steps:

1. Click on Settings  > Global Configuration > Marketing > Affiliate Marketing > Pay Lifetime Commissions > Enable
